Drive Thru Rack

Requiring aisles on both sides of the rack system, drive thru rack creates what we call an island of rack. Drive-thru racking is accessible from two sides. Drive-thru racks allow the lift truck operator to drive into the rack system unencumbered by back bracing and exit from the other side of the rack system. To achieve this the uprights must extend over the top loads throughout and the entire system must be top tied which adds to the cost this high-density storage system. Drive-through racking isn't as popular as drive-in rack systems. We suggest putting drive-in rack back-to-back with drive in rack to allow accessibility from both sides of the system.
